Kelowna
Hey guys,
As we mentioned before, we lost our camera and all our pictures from B.C. Thanks to Julie, we now have the Kelowna ones back. Here are a few:
Now, normally I'm quite indifferent towards babies and I don't usually pay too much attention to them. Not that I don't like them but you know. Anyway, there have always been exceptions to this and Jaida is certainly one. She is one of the cutest babies I've seen. She's always smiling and laughing and I didn't see her cry once (mind you she has a serious Cheerio addiction that should probably be dealt with). Anyway, I fell in love with her. Here's a picture of me giving Jaida her first guitar lesson. It took some time and patience but by the end, this eight month old could play Knockin' On Heaven's Door.
Trey Anastasio once said: Hammy's in the kitchen, the Captain's still in bed (at least that's what it sounds like he's saying). There's a half truth to this. The Captain certainly likes sleeping in but I've never seen Hammy cook a meal in my life. Anyway, here's the aforementioned pair swimming in Okanagan Lake.
Here's Jimi and Jaida. Jimi is drunk and Jaida has a Communist-style cap on. I love it! And here's a picture of the two lovely ladies. We are at a party outside of Kelowna. The deck overlooks the lake and that little white dot is the moon. It was very beautiful but the party turned into a late night which resulted in me being embarassingly hungover the next day (while everyone was eating steak and caeser, I was in the bathroom with my head in the toilet).
So there's a bit of a recap. The rest of the trip was great too and all our hosts were perfect. If there's any other pictures floating around, I'd love to see them (Jonny, do you have any good ones? Calhoun, did we take any photos? I don't think we did). Anyway, I'll talk to you all later.
Geoff

Shotgunning beers @ 6am might have had something to do with it...laughs!
