Taipei Show

Hey everyone,

Si brought to my attention, that I haven't updated this blog for quite some time. He's correct but I have an excuse. We still don't have a camera. But tonight I got some photos and here's a little update.

A few weeks ago, we did a tour to the three major cities in Taiwan. We were the band for a literary magazine launch. It ended up being four gigs, and though none were paid gigs, transportation and hotels were covered. And it was good exposure. Out of the four gigs, the Saturday night show in Taipei was the most special. Nicki came up from Hualien and some friends, April and Lisa, came up from Taichung. Plus, I hadn't seen the Taipei boys in a long time (including Chucky who I hadn't seen at all). Thanks everyone, it was great.

Here's Fish and Chucky. It was Fish's birthday. I think we are drunk at this point in the night. Fish also came to our Friday night show.
Thanks a lot for coming. I apologize again for the other band sucking so bad. Here's a shot of Faye and the Slacks. Faye, Phil and I.
April, Nicki, Curnie, Lindsay and Lisa. It was a smaller pub but it was packed.
So great to play for so many friends.
So there's a bit of an update. To read even more, go to Si's blog and read Nicki's reply. The night went until morning. We had seven people in our luxury suite down by the train station and Nicki and I finished a bottle of wine on top of a greasy roof as the sun came up. Can't wait to do it again.

Clau, I love it. That's now one of my favourite quotes. It lends itself so well to rugby - "I apologize again for the other team sucking so badly". Thank you, thank you, thank you!
