Back Home

Hey everyone,

We are back in Taichung and, man, that's a long journey. Surprisingly though, the flights were great - including the Air Canada flight from Toronto to Hong Kong. I couldn't believe it. They gave me the leg room I requested and there was free food, drinks, pillows, blankets, etc. About half of the stewardesses were hot, too - something you don't see on domestic flights. The only bad thing about the flight was that it was 15 and a half hours long but I guess the great distance between Hong Kong and Toronto isn't Air Canada's fault. Our nation's airline has been one of my biggest gripes in the past few years and though our domestic flights are still pathetic, I guess I will have to ease up on them just a little...maybe.

For whatever reason, I couldn't upload pictures to the blog in Fredericton (that's an actual valid excuse), so I will start re-capping the summer. But first I must show my cute niece, Janna. I went out to Fort McMurray to visit her and my mom (who was out there helping). Since Francis was working for much of it, I ended up being surrounded by women and other babies and breast pumps and conversations that didn't stray too far from baby stuff the entire time. Even still, it was one of the highlights of my summer.
Here she is. Very cute.
