Road Trip to Puli

While my parents were here visiting, we took a road trip into the mountains to a place called Puli. Puli is home to a very massive, and very impressive Buddhist monastery. Dad, Geoff and I climbed the 360 stairs to the 16th floor to see an amazing mountain view.

Some jackass thought the roundabout was a perfect parking spot. A monk's job is never done...

Just outside of Puli there are some great waterfalls.

Year End - Part Deux

Although we don't get a lot of time off for Christmas, we jam everything into a fun-filled Christmas Extravaganza Weekend. Lucky for us, Glenn and Midge were here to celebrate, too. December 23rd was our turkey dinner hosted by our good friends, Alana and Justin. **Here insert a BIG congrats to them...they recently got engaged!!** A local foreign restaurant supplies everything: turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, and pies. It was so yummy!
