Want a ticket to the gun show?

Saw this little gem when we were helping Santa buy a bass for Geoff.

Quote of the Year...

"My imagination is extinguished when I see him dig his nose hole."

Still the latest...Luciano Pavaroti

We had the chance to see Pavaroti during his last Asian stop on his last tour ever (for only $30 can). Apparently he's good friends with the Mayor in Taichung. Not a great pic, but it's really him...all 500lbs. of him. He's so big, he had to sit the entire time, and he still sounded amazing! It rained a bit at the beginning, hence all the yellow raincoats.

The Latest...

A beautiful Taichung sunset. It's amazing the effect the smog has...

Oh My Buddha!

I've been trying for an hour to put more than these pictures on all together, but I can't seem to be able to. Here is the first instalement of the latest...

Merry Christmas!

Hey Everyone,

This is my first attempt at posting something on the site Lindsay made us. The guy on the right, as you may already know, is Santa Claus. The other, as you might not know, is the security guard at our apartment building. As you can see, we are all getting into the spirit of the yuletide season. For a second year, we will be having a green (actually there's no green in Taiwan) - maybe a grey and brown - Christmas. Today is Christmas Eve and it's quite nice. 13 degrees and beautiful bluish-grey skies (from the smog not rain) to go for a scooter ride into the mountains (which I'm about to do). I hope you all have a good holiday wherever you are.

Merry Christmas,
Geoff and (though she's not with me right now) Lindsay

Kidz Day - we are good samaritans

Kidz Day is a Christmas party for orphans all over Taiwan. Our school had a couple of craft booths and Geoff's band played.

Geoff is playing bass...his new instrument of choice.

A Few Pics...

I love a man with a guitar!

Four on a scooter...an everyday sight! I once saw a family of 5 and a dog!

Ready for the open road...

The handsome couple.

Hello Everyone!

I'm new at this, but I think it's awesome. An easy way for everyone to see what's going on with us. Enjoy...
